This LJ is primarily for me to squee about fannish things, most related to Pirates of the Caribbean, especially anything pertaining to Commodore Norrington, in particular Sparrington.

Artwork posted here usually is a mixture of photographic and painted elements. I spend a lot of time on my artwork, so if you enjoy it, I would love for you to comment and tell me so. Makes me happy.
For these images, I used characters from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean which are not mine. I also used photos as a base from which to work, most of which were not mine. I make no profit from this nor do I intend to, yet, if you as a photographer recognise your work and want me to remove the picture, let me know and I will do so right away. In turn, there are heavily painted elements in this picture which are my work and my work alone. I ask other artists to respect this and not steal. Please do not repost any of my work anywhere without obtaining permission.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, anything I post, be that meta, fic, art or general ranting, is up for discussion. I ask you to remain respectful towards others (including myself), but if you disagree with something, you are welcome to say so. If you post feedback to any of my work, you will make me happy, also if said feedback is not positive. I appreciate honest criticism. I might disagree with it, but unless it is a personal insult, I assure you I will not be offended. The day I stop asking for feedback might just as well be the day I stop writing or painting - because that's the point: improving.
I have been asked whether I minded being friended a few times. No, on the contrary, I feel honoured. Everyone who so desires is free to read my journal, and I'm always delighted by comments. If you add me, I will most likely add you back if you are in my fandom (POTC). If I do not, please do not consider it a personal insult, but I try to read my complete friendslist and only have limited time. To date, there are only very few friends-locked posts in this journal and all fannish and most other posts will continue to be posted publically.
If I friended you out of nowhere, it means I am interested in the content of your journal. If you wish to add me back, I am honoured, but if not, no hard feelings involved.
